MFBT Pty Limited is dedicated to keeping your details private, and protects the information you share with us. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We will not collect personal or commercial information unless the information is necessary for one or more of the functions or activities we carry out as part of the Business Needs Assessment, or to identify your orders. Our Office and personnel are bound by the Information Privacy Principles of the Information Privacy Act 2000. We will not pass on, sell, swap, distribute, barter, or give away to any other company or third party, your email address or any personal, sensitive, or commercial information you share with us unless you have specifically consented or we are required by law to do so.
MFBT uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from MFBT only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised experience by displaying offers that interest you throughout our pages, thus providing you with a more friendly and efficient experience.
Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its “IP address,” and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.
Clients who participate in Business Needs Assessments should understand that we do need to disclose your information to Skills Victoria, associated Australian Apprenticeship Centres and/or personnel who perform functions, related to the Business Needs Assessment, for us under confidentiality agreements.
Where training recommendations are accepted, Participants should understand that Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are required to provide the Victorian Government, through Skills Victoria, with student information and training activity data which may include information that students provide in their enrollment forms. This Information is required to be provided in accordance with the Victorian VET Student Statistical Collection Guidelines (which are available at www.skills.vic.gov.au/
The Education and Training Reform Act 2006 requires RTOs to collect and disclose students’ personal information for a number of purposes including the allocation of a Victorian Student Number and updating students’ personal information on the Victorian Student Register.
